A new international recognition for NestSentinel
This new recognition comes just days after NestSentinel was officially recognized as Tech For Change by VivaTech 2026, confirming the growing international relevance of its mission: using artificial intelligence to better protect seniors and vulnerable people while preserving privacy, dignity, and independence.
Organized by Nebius, the AI Discovery Awards recognize startups leveraging artificial intelligence to transform healthcare and life sciences. For the 2026 edition, 198 companies advanced to the semifinal stage out of 646 global submissions, across categories including BioPharma, Genomics, Digital Health, Medical Devices, and Medical Imaging.
Embedded AI designed to protect without intrusion
For NestSentinel, this selection highlights the relevance of its approach: a sovereign, embedded, multi-sensor AI system designed to detect critical risk situations locally, without intrusive surveillance. NestSentinelâs solution is built to automatically detect falls, calls for help, early-stage fires, carbon monoxide emissions, and other risk situations â without video cameras, bracelets, or any action required from residents.
At the heart of the project is a clear conviction, carried by Pierre Marmignon and Louis Baumstark: technology must support care without compromising human dignity.
NestSentinel relies on embedded AI, a local autonomous Edge server, and secure cloud infrastructure to generate alerts within seconds, even when Internet connectivity is unavailable. This architecture reflects the companyâs ambition to build safer care environments through reliable, privacy-first, and field-ready innovation.
The finalists of the 2026 AI Discovery Awards will be announced in June, ahead of the awards ceremony in London on July 1, 2026, which will bring together finalists, partners, judges, investors, and media representatives focused on the future of AI-powered healthcare and life sciences.
