NestSentinel heads to Stanford and San Francisco

NestSentinel will travel to California in October as part of The Square, EuraTechnologies’ six-month acceleration program. The journey will include a three-day bootcamp at Stanford followed by several days in San Francisco to meet care operators, technology partners and investors.

Since September, NestSentinel has been part of The Square by EuraTechnologies, an intensive acceleration program designed to support high-potential startups in their growth and international development.

The six-month program focuses on market access, funding, talent and international expansion, with individualized support and a dedicated Shadow Executive Committee.

In early October, this journey will take NestSentinel to California.

Three days at Stanford

As part of the Scaling Global Venture program, NestSentinel co-founders Pierre Marmignon and Louis Baumstark will take part in a three-day bootcamp at Stanford.

The objective is not simply to discover the US innovation ecosystem, but to challenge NestSentinel’s strategy in an environment where technology, entrepreneurship and global scaling are deeply interconnected.

For NestSentinel, this comes at an important stage of development. RoomGuardian is currently in pre-production, with industrialization and certification work underway ahead of the first planned pilots in early 2027.

This California trip will provide an opportunity to confront the company’s approach with international perspectives on aging, care delivery, non-intrusive monitoring and Edge AI.

One week in the San Francisco Bay Area

The trip will extend beyond Stanford, with NestSentinel spending approximately one week in the San Francisco Bay Area.

During this period, the team plans to meet people facing many of the same challenges that led to the creation of RoomGuardian: care operators, senior living professionals, technology experts, potential partners and investors.

The discussions will focus on a central question:
How can technology detect risk earlier without turning private living spaces into monitored spaces?

RoomGuardian was designed around this principle. Rather than relying on a conventional video camera or a device that must be worn or activated, the system combines several complementary sensing technologies and processes information locally.

Its objective is to detect situations such as falls, distress calls, prolonged immobility and unusual changes in activity while preserving the resident’s privacy.

From a French DeepTech project to an international ambition

NestSentinel’s development remains rooted in France, with its first pilots planned in senior residences and care facilities.

But the challenges addressed by RoomGuardian are not limited to one country.

Aging populations, pressure on care teams, the desire to remain independent for longer and growing concerns around privacy are shared across many markets.

The California trip therefore represents another step in NestSentinel’s international development: not an announcement of a US launch, but an opportunity to listen, compare approaches, build relationships and test the relevance of the company’s vision beyond France.

It is also consistent with the philosophy behind The Square, whose acceleration program is designed to help startups structure their growth and expand beyond their initial market.

Meet NestSentinel in San Francisco

NestSentinel will be in California from October 3, with the Stanford program taking place during the trip and several days dedicated to meetings in San Francisco and the wider Bay Area.

The team is particularly interested in meeting:
- senior living and long-term care operators;
- home care organizations;
- healthcare and AgeTech professionals;
- Edge AI, IoT and building technology companies;
- investors and partners interested in non-intrusive risk prevention.

If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area during that week and would like to meet the NestSentinel team, get in touch.

Sometimes the most useful conversations begin with thirty minutes and a coffee.
